The Teacher Wellbeing Academy
Supporting Young Teachers
Combining Clinical Psychology with Education, we help teachers function well in the ups and downs of work so they remain effective in the industry, long-term.
Investing in Young Teachers
The Teacher Wellbeing Academy is for young teachers. Our goal is simple - to help teachers function well in the ups and downs of front-line work.
Combining lived experience with clinical psychology, we help your teachers:
Navigate stress, anxiety & burnout
Invest in teacher and student wellbeing
Equip them with sustainable teaching habits.
A Safe & Supportive Learning Community
46.2% of teachers report moderate to extremely severe symptoms of anxiety. As for stress, this figure is 59.7%. For many, teaching is not sustainable.
Through workshops and coaching, we help teachers improve their mental health and well-being, including healthy thought patterns, emotional regulation, and sustainable teaching habits. Then, we help teachers pay it forward, supporting them in sharing their learnings in the school community they serve.
“Tomorrow Mind has a way of breaking through walls to get to the real stuff quickly and provide simple tricks and tools to help in everyday environments.”

Dr Alex Shilton
Clinical Psychologist
Alex has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and is passionate about bringing psychological practices into everyday life. Using approaches based on contextual behavioural sciences, including Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she offers educational professionals a range of tangible tools they can use for themselves and the children they teach. Working in both public and private mental health systems means she brings a diverse perspective and experiences working with adults and children with many different needs, including neurodiversity.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys weekend getaways to country Victoria seeing family, and appreciating the wide open space and fresh air. Another favourite past time for Alex is playing or supporting various sports.
“Justin & Alex were wonderful in fostering a safe and comfortable environment, where I felt like I could be vulnerable and heard in the group.”
